What is Electrical Engineering in the Philippines?
A person is deemed to be in the practice of Electrical Engineering in the Philippines when his/her works consist of any activity requiring electrical engineering knowledge, including electric power systems, teaching electrical engineering professional subjects, and sale and distribution of electrical equipment and systems requiring engineering applications, etc.

What is the Electrical Engineering Licensure Exam?
The REE board exam, otherwise known as the Registered Electrical Engineering Licensure Exam is a biannual written licensure exam
for BS Electrical Engineering graduates held usually during the month of April and September. It is a prerequisite for registration to those who seek for a valid certificate of registration and a valid professional license as Electrical Engineer. The license will be given by the Board of Electrical Engineering under Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) once the abovementioned licensure exam is passed by the applicant. The passing general average rating shall be seventy percent (70%) with no grade below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
What is the scope of the Electrical Engineering licensure exam?
The applicant for the licensure exam shall pass a written examination on different subjects or group of subject as follows:
